2)    In 2012, you won’t be shocked to hear the Olympics are coming to England! That said, you may be shocked to hear that you may be going to the Olympics! The committee has bought a number of tickets to the hockey which EHC members will be given the chance to win! Keep reading these emails to find out the ways how, but by turning up to EHC socials, your likelihood increases! Info to come…

3)    The EHC End-of-season dinner is expected to be on Saturday 5th May. This is a Bank Holiday weekend, so don’t be planning any trips away, as this event is never to be missed. When full confirmation is made official, I will let you know…

4)    It might seem a long way away, but it will come along quickly. Both the ladies and the men will be needing a number of new captains next season, and there will be a couple of committee roles up for grabs as well. This club does not function without the work of its members, so I encourage you to consider getting involved. Traditionally, it seems to be the same people who take on responsibilities in the club – it’s a time for a new generation of people to come through, so please consider applying if a job comes up which you think you could do.

And actually, that is about it. Friendlies start on the 7th January, so will see you then!

Here’s to a successful 2012 for EHC!!
